Scientific Council

The Scientific Council of the Faculty (furthermore as SC) is a self-governing academic body established based on §29 of Act No. 111/1998 of the Collection (Act on Higher Education Institutions), which is appointed by the Dean with the consent of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Environment UJEP (AS FE UJEP). The Scientific Council is composed of internal and external members, ie important representatives of the fields in which the Faculty of Environment carries out mainly scientific and educational activities. External members make up at least one-third of all SC members and may not be a member of the UJEP academic community. The Scientific Council discusses the strategic plan for the development of the Faculty of Environment. Approves the study programs to be implemented at the Faculty of Environment and discusses other matters submitted to it by the Dean. The chairman of the SC is the Dean of the faculty.
