The Faculty of Environment Restores Matriculation Ceremonies

After a hiatus of over a decade, the Faculty of Environment has officially reinstated the traditional matriculation ceremony for new students. This significant event, held at the faculty premises, symbolizes the beginning of the students’ academic journey and their formal acceptance into the academic community. During the ceremony, the vice-dean emphasized the importance of environmental education and encouraged the new students to actively participate in nature conservation and sustainable development.
The matriculation ceremonies were discontinued more than ten years ago due to organizational changes, but the faculty is now enthusiastically reviving this tradition, which for many represents a key moment in their academic life. During the ceremony, new students pledged to uphold the values of the faculty, including an ethical approach to environmental protection and scientific work.
The restoration of matriculation ceremonies marks another step by the faculty in strengthening its identity and traditions, which play a crucial role in shaping the professional paths of its new students.
